My little Briscoe rolled all the way down the stairs to the basement today. I wondered how long it would be until that happened because the top of the stairs is so close to the door going out to the garage. I have almost taken a tumble down them myself. He's been really into writing me love notes lately and I kind of adore him for it. I'm going to miss it when he outgrows it.
Briscoe got to come with us to Peter's boys activities at church and I'm always impressed with Peter's artistry. He is such a little artist. He spent the most time on his tree and it turned out the best. I think he may be a perfectionist like his dad.
I've been making Ben's dad's rolls recipe lately on Sundays even though I don't eat gluten anymore. I wasn't going to make them last sunday but Ben asked so I agreed as long as he would roll the dough. I have yet to master the art of rolling the dough into balls but Ben has it down. Not bad for a guy who doesn't like to spend time in the kitchen!
The boys had their primary program last Sunday and Peter sang in a trio. Ben said they all did great and there were a couple of funny moments. Peter and another little girl kept trying to get past eachother as she was coming down from the podium and he was going up. They kept stepping in eachother's way until the whole congregation was laughing.
For veterans day this year Ben gave a presentation to the boys in Peter's group and brought all of his Iraq war memorabilia and talked the boys about his time over there. They were all really into it.
